SHWC 2019 is a gathering for women across the Southern Highlands to hear from the bible, to help each of us draw closer to the heart of God, and to better equip us for life and relationships.
This years theme was: What is the purpose of life? How can we know we are living God’s purpose for our Lives?
Christine Jensen has been married to Peter for 50 years. They have 5 adult child and enjoy spending time with their 25 grandchildren. They have been involved in a variety of ministries during that time. Christine does itinerant speaking for Christian women’s groups, is involved in Mother’s Union, and serves in ministry at their church St Matthias Centennial Park. She is very interested in children’s books. Her favourite book is ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’.
Di Morgan, who has served for over 20 years as an associate minister in church ministry, lectured in pastoral care at Mary Andrews College, and also meets with individuals for mentoring and pastoral supervision, will be addressing two topics: finding and understanding your purpose in Christ when living with a mental Illness, and helping people better understand and care for those living with Mental Illness and in turn encourage and help them realise their purpose in Christ.
